Pedrom is a second-year medical student at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University. He is also currently a research student in Dr. Brian McCrindle's lab at SickKids Hospital in Toronto. Before medical school, Pedrom earned his Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMSc) with an honors specialization in physiology and pharmacology from Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. Since 2016, Pedrom has been researching Kawasaki Disease (KD) in Dr. McCrindle's lab, and his research has been represented in multiple posters presented at the 12th and 13th International Kawasaki Disease Symposiums (IKDS).
